The Responsibilities:
- Receive the knowledge transfer from the incumbent vendor, verify the project document and create manuals if needed.
- Level 2, 3 support SAP Maintenance projects with SLA committed to the clients.
- Support hours: Japan time zone (9:00 – 18:00 GMT+9), primarily 8x5. (If customer has any major change, release or urgent issue, working out of service hours could be expected.).
- Solve tickets/changes or customizing updates for the customer.
- Work with customer business teams & project teams effectively.
- Understand the customer business processes and the IT landscape rapidly and able to foresee the likely challenges.
- Report to Project Manager/Project Leader.
- Other tasks as assigned.
The Requirements:
- Bachelor/master's degree in Computer science, IT, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant or in a similar role.
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Maintenance projects.
- Mandatory languages: 1 of 2 below options:
- Professional level in English (4 skills: listening, reading, writing, speaking).
- Or Professional level in Japanese (N1/N2 4 skills: listening, reading, writing, speaking) + English ~B1.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies.
- Understand and evaluate the business process as-is & to-be.
- Enable to consult SD processes to customers.
- Enable to translate the business process into the SAP system.
- Enable to do configuration in SAP, Testing and providing training to users.
- Experience in both SAP ECC (must have) and S/4 HANA (Optional).
- Proactive and flexible to work across time zones.
- SAP SD certification is a plus.
