The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Developer to join their carrier business team. This role will be in charge of leading the carrier business development in Asia, Africa, and Middle East carrier partnerships mainly.
The objective of this role is to achieve new innovative contracts with new Mobile Carrier Operators across the world under complex enterprise sales (partnerships) negotiation. This role will also lead the renegotiation of their current Carrier Agreements for better pricing, features, and technology capabilities and integrations designed to improve our user experience and the caliber of our product offerings.

Responsibilities:
As the Business Developer, you will need to invest your time in these key areas and achieve those objectives:
Strategic Partnership Development:
  • Strong knowledge of eSIM and GSMA-related Technologies and Services, you will take the initiative to learn the market and do the market investigation.
  • Prosper/ identify/ Approach/ Onboard and integrate new telco carriers and partners in the region who are capable of improving our product offerings based on approved carrier relations strategy.
Market Analysis
  • Review and prioritize incoming feature integrations with telco carriers, and constantly look for improvement in the current product/supplier portfolio.
Project Management
  • In collaboration with our internal Engineering team, this role will lead the execution of all technical implementations and deployments of new products and services provided by our Mobile Carrier Partners until such a new operation is fully established.
Contract Negotiation
  • Negotiate existing and future agreements with the carrier & partners to ensure competitiveness in the market.
Performance Monitoring
  • Manage the Objectives and Key Results (Goals) of all the sub-teams and its performance on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with other executives within the company to define impactful business strategies, objectives, goals, and resource allocation.
  • Regularly report on key performance indicators to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of impactful business experience in telecommunication roaming business, eSIM business is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of MNO vs MVNO vs MVNE concepts.
  • Relevant experience in a managerial or executive role in the Telco Industry.
  • Extensive network with international carriers across the world.
  • Strong experience in Project Management impacting business results.
  • Demonstrable ability and proven track record in strategy ideation and execution.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Professional ability to speak and write in English (proven C1 level is required).
  • Ability to work cohesively with a team and investigate, develop, and make decisions independently.
  • Experience balancing execution, agility, and culture in a fast-growing business.

Additional Requirements (a plus / not required):
  • Experience working with different team management tools Worked in MNO, MVNO and MVNE companies before.
  • Basic IT knowledge is preferred.
  • Former experiences as an entrepreneur or in start-up environments.Reasonable international (cultural) exposure.
  • Strong technical abilities and familiarity with agile development practices.
