The Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician/Inspector based in Singapore to support the installation, maintenance, and technical operation of our advanced cooling systems. This individual will ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction through hands-on equipment management and timely customer support.
The Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at client sites.
- Provide frontline technical support by troubleshooting and resolving issues, escalating complex cases as necessary.
- Perform regular maintenance checks, diagnose technical problems, and recommend adjustments or improvements.
- Act as the first point of contact for client technical inquiries, delivering effective solutions and following up to ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily.
- Prepare and update activity reports, maintain accurate customer data, and document each case for record-keeping and future reference.
- Conduct on-site inspections and coordinate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Work closely with the Market Operations Manager and report on feedback gathered from clients, helping to enhance service quality and process improvements.
The Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in technical support or related technician roles (internship experience acceptable).
- Strong hands-on knowledge in mechatronics or mechanical systems.
- Practical experience with support software, temperature measuring devices, or cooling systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills, able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills for accurate reporting and case closure.
Additional Information
- Extensive on-site training will be provided in Singapore, including a 2-3 week onboarding period with guidance from an experienced technician.
- The role is part-time (6 hours/day, 5 days/week) with work mainly conducted on client premises.
- Immediate availability is required to meet the operational needs and support the recent deployment of equipment in Singapore.
