Company Overview:


Our client is a leading company with over 1,300 employees, specializing in providing cleaning and personnel leasing services to factories (70% of the business) and engineering and technical services to factories (about 30%). They have two companies in Germany that specialize in cleaning river canals. They also do water maintenance, urban tree plantings, landscaping, and hydraulic engineering among other services.


They are looking for a Head Service Leader to join their team in Berlin. The ideal candidate is someone with a technical background or engineering or technical education (civil engineering, any technical areas of operation). Someone open to new things (study their standards, rules, and processes, and work on them). 

Responsibilities: 


  • Management of the Company's engineering division, providing regular and one-time services to industrial enterprises in various regions

  • Management of the division's employees, participation in hiring, selection, training, and formation of a personnel reserve

  • Responsibility for the fulfillment of planned indicators, control over the assessment and implementation of projects, planning of income and expenses, ensuring compliance with budgets

  • Participation in negotiations at the level of the customer's top officials if necessary

  • Control over the timeliness and correctness of calculations for new projects, distribution of workload and resources within the division

  • Management of current projects, ensuring proper quality of work, and compliance with deadlines

  • Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Law and contractual obligations when performing work, including in terms of documents

  • Budgeting and planning

  • Work closely with the sales department, participating/assisting in the sales strategy, training employees in the product, assisting in marketing events, preparing presentations, and other sales development tools when needed. 

  • Participate in the development and implementation of standards and regulations; processes optimization (enterprise ERP system and documentation)


Required Experience: 


  • Engineering background or higher education (preferably technical)

  • 7-10 years of training/experience in the mechanical, construction, concrete, masonry, and/or wood sectors

  • Well-developed managerial and organizational skills

  • Strategic thinking, focus on results

  • Stress tolerance is the ability to work with a large amount of information in multitasking mode

  • Competent speech, presentable appearance

  • Work experience in the engineering field will be an advantage

  • Native/Fluent in German and English
