Role overview
As a Structural Engineer (Tragwerksplaner), you will be responsible for the following:
- Undertaking and certifying structural calculations (static assessments) of steel and concrete structures within the telecom sector
- Giving feedback on the structural load and wind capacity of the structure
- Recognising tower defects and suggesting solutions for their maintenance and/or reinforcement
Qualifications and experience
- Ability to certify structural calculations (static assessments) through a membership in the one of the 16 Federal States’s Chamber of Engineering in Germany (Ingenieurkammer)
- Extensive experience in the field of development and static calculations of steel and concrete building structures in Germany is required
- Experience with AutoCad drawings and software for static calculations
- Professional background on a similar position in the field of Telecommunications /Construction will be considered as an advantage
- University degree in Civil Engineering
- Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Fluency in English and German
- The candidate must be highly motivated, self-starter and detail-oriented individual, willing to work at a dynamic pace to complete tasks and meet deadlines
