Our client, a prominent influencer marketing agency within the gaming industry, is currently seeking a Head of Operations. Operating at the forefront of influencer marketing, our client collaborates with major game publishers and brands, facilitating connections with suitable social media content creators. Through innovative promotions and strategic sponsorships, they consistently achieve impactful marketing results, driving trends across platforms such as Youtube, Instagram, Twitch, & TikTok.

Now, as they aim to solidify their position as industry leaders, our client is in search of motivated team members who share their passion for social media & gaming.

As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless and profitable operation of the agency. While flexibility for remote work is provided, regular attendance at the Dusseldorf office is required. Therefore, candidates should reside within a 50 km radius of Dusseldorf.

Tasks

As the Head of Operations, you'll be responsible for:
  • Managing and defining budgets
  • Checking calculations and commercial contracts
  • Recruiting, interviewing and hiring senior staff
  • Analysing productivity data and optimising staffing and allocating resources
  • Using historical records to forecast future business patterns
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of their industry including challenges and opportunities in the sector
  • Working closely with other heads of departments like finance, HR, sales to improve efficiency
  • Creating and delivering regular presentations and reports to the teams
  • Designing new processes to improve quality or increase productivity and profitability and bringing them to a speedy conversion
  • responsible for creating policies to help achieve strategic goals and coordinate business operations to fulfil customer or client expectations.
  • All these tasks have to be handled in both German and English language!

Requirements

These are the skills and qualifications that you bring with you:
  • Significant experience in a similar role with at least four to five years in a senior or management position with leadership responsibilities in the agency environment
  • Auditing and monitoring outputs and data analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and retain staff
  • Commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of the competitive environment
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Project management skills and knowledge of methodologies
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively and delegate when appropriate
  • Knowledge of industry laws and tax regulations
