Our client is looking for an ambitious HR Operations Manager to join their growing Human Resources function. Based in our New York office, you will deliver HR services to our client’s teams across our global offices with a focus on the US [New York and San Francisco].
They are looking for a versatile self-starter who is excited about leading operational HR for our US offices. The Global Human Resources Team is dedicated to raising the standard of professionalism and ensuring we are improving the standard of operational HR excellence.

Core Responsibilities:
Improve the effective operations of the HR Department, providing support to the US HR Manager and US Senior Leadership
Optimizing operational HR processes and systems by reviewing global processes and removing inefficiencies
Proactively review and as appropriate identify and make improvements to HR practices, processes, systems, procedures, and templates. Ensuring that all documentation remains compliant and fit for purpose
Provide operational HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, processes, and procedures
Day to day management and development of the US HR Operations team
Act as a point of escalation on complex or difficult HR operational queries. Taking decisions to resolve issues as appropriate
Ensure key deadlines are met such as HR and Payroll processing dates for US
Optimize operational HR processes and systems by reviewing global processes and removing inefficiencies
Maintain accurate employee records on HRIS. Monitor employee reports, liaising with payroll where applicable. Act as a main point of contact for HR Operations questions. Arrange meetings to provide advice and guidance on policies and procedures
Responsible and accountable for HR data integrity, security, quality and consistency, to deliver accurate and reliable data at all times and make sure processes are in place to meet requirements
Compensation and benefits
Expected total compensation of $110,000-$122,000.
20 vacation days, in addition to 10 public holidays, and business closure during winter holiday week.

What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience.
4-6 years of HR experience in a fast-paced environment
Previous work experience in an HR Operations or similar environment, ideally using Workday, Bamboo, SAP or a similar system
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
Proven stakeholder management at building professional relationships and influencing stakeholders (including Finance and Engineering), demonstrated courage in the face of adversity
People management experience or experience mentoring a team of assistants within HR
Demonstrated problem solving, interpersonal skills and proven strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize/handle competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Flexibility and adaptability in a changing work environment
Ability to support US HR Manager build a cohesive team while maintaining productivity
