Your tasks 

  • Setting up registration strategies considering non-testing and testing approaches related to the environment / ecotoxicology
  • Assessing the complete ecotoxicological hazard profile of substances including derivation of the respective reference / limit values for the environment as well as classification and labelling
  • Performing risk assessments
  • Providing regulatory science solutions for demanding situations, e.g. expert statements and position papers
  • Acting as scientific discussion partner and mentoring colleagues
  • Communicating and co-operating with clients, the company's stakeholders and relevant authorities

Your profile

  • University degree in biology, agricultural or environmental science or equivalent; PhD degree would be a benefit
  • Working experience in Regulatory Ecotoxicology related to EU REACH, EU BPR or Crop protection of at least 3 years
  • Advanced knowledge of ecotoxicological and risk assessment principles in accordance with relevant regulations, and guidances and / or models; experience in study monitoring would be an asset
  • Ability to convey complex scientific ideas in succinct way
  • Working knowledge of scientific approaches and methodologies
  • Routined IUCLID user
  • Routine knowledge in working with MS-Word, MS-Powerpoint, MS-Outlook
  • Excellent language skills in English (spoken and written)
  • Strongly motivated, self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a global team
