Our clients been developing SaaS solutions to increase employee efficiency and engagement. They address the main administrative and HR management issues: time and activities, expense reports, personnel administration, annual reviews, and measuring well-being at work. Their solutions are used today by over one million users in all types of companies (from the chic hotel chain Accor to the surf brand Rip Curl) and particularly in those with strong growth developing internationally (Novo Nordisk, Nexthink, etc.). While they operate in the very serious field of management tools, their work is guided by the belief that a management software doesn't have to be gray, ugly, or boring. That is why they attach great importance to the design of our interfaces and the user experience.
In 2022 our client celebrated its 20th anniversary and embarked on its internationalization journey by establishing its first two subsidiaries outside of France, in Barcelona and Geneva. They now want to develop their potential and footprint in the DACH market, by growing their client base not only in Switzerland, but also in Germany. As a European company, they are eager to lean on local culture and adapt to it in their internal collaboration.
About Your Role
Your main mission will be to help sales grow their business in Germany using a variety of marketing tactics including digital campaigns, social media and events, supported by the global marketing teams. You will report to the Country Manager, working closely with him to ensure marketing aligns and contribute to pipeline growth. You will build a local strategy and roadmap that will best serve our goals.
Marketing campaigns
- Build and manage budget
- Plan integrated campaigns throughout the fiscal year
- Build buyer journeys with the most efficient tactics
- Work with the DACH PMM to define campaigns topics and messaging
- Create or outsource content, including SEO-optimised content
- Drive, adjust and analyse campaigns
- Report on performance and results
- Work with sales on lead scoring
Web and content
- Work with global teams to manage local content on their website and marketing assets
Communication
- Work with the global communication team to build and execute the local social media strategy
- Identify the events they should attend and organise the company's presence with the global communication team
Testing, iterating, learning and reporting
- Share analysis, feedback from the field and associated recommendations to the relevant internal teams and stakeholders to accelerate their learning curve.
Objectives
You will be measured on:
- volume and quality of leads generated and nurtured for the sales team
- you will be expected to set up local KPI benchmarks
- you will improve brand awareness and preference on the German market
Key Requirements
- You are native German & fluent in English.
- You had 5-7 years of experience in the SaaS sector or HRIS industry in Germany and a successful experience in a Marketing role.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset: ideally you have already worked on the opening of the German market for a foreign company.
- You like to take on big challenges: you are curious, with a real desire to learn and results-oriented working methods.
- You have a strong operational spirit: you like action, getting your hands into the field.
- You have very good communication skills both in writing and orally, to communicate internally and represent the company in the country.
- You are an adaptable team-player, interested in collaborating with different cultures internally.
