Job Summary:

The company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join their dynamic team. The Business Development Representative will play a critical role in driving business growth by generating leads and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the sales industry, with a strong background in lead generation. The company seeks a true hunter, someone who excels at finding and engaging with potential clients. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from any location.


Responsibilities:

  • The Business Development Representative will be responsible for generating leads and identifying new business opportunities in the market.
  • They will actively prospect and engage with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media.
  • Developing and maintaining a pipeline of qualified leads and following up on sales inquiries will be essential.
  • Thorough research and analysis of target markets, industries, and competitors will be required to identify key selling points and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and achieve or exceed sales targets will be vital.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.
  • Participating in sales meetings, conferences, and trade shows as required.
  • Providing regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team.

Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in the survey programming or market research industry.
  • A proven track record of lead generation, closing sales, and meeting or exceeding sales targets is essential.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Self-motivation, results-orientation, and a relentless drive to achieve sales goals are necessary qualities.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, maintaining high productivity and accountability.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Knowledge of survey programming and market research methodologies is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
