Human Resources Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager for their Utrecht office, which comprises approximately 60 team members. The successful candidate will be hands-on, deeply engaged in daily HR operations, and adept at aligning local practices with global policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for various internal stakeholders, including local management and employees, addressing all HR-related matters.
- Collaborate closely with the international HR team to ensure alignment of local practices with global policies and procedures.
2. HR Operational Excellence:
- Oversee local HR administration and payroll in collaboration with the Senior HR Associate and the central HR Operations and Payroll teams.
- Focus on automating processes and optimizing the use of Workday and other systems.
- Enhance HR service delivery, streamline policies, and analyze trends and metrics to drive improvements.
3. Employee Engagement:
- Champion the company’s "People First" philosophy to foster a supportive and engaging work environment.
- Act as the main point of contact for managers and employees, promoting a culture of wellbeing and inclusion.
- Support initiatives related to Inclusion and Diversity.
4. Performance Management:
- Guide managers and employees through the performance management cycle, ensuring continuous development and growth.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues and grievances effectively.
6. Collaboration with the Works Council:
- Act as the primary liaison to the Works Council in the Netherlands.
- Facilitate the implementation of global and local policies, and contribute to the negotiation and execution of works agreements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an HR generalist.
- Understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge of labor law and experience working with a Works Council is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work effectively across international boundaries, with strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in English and Dutch is essential.
- Enthusiastic and proactive with a “can-do” attitude.
