Product Manager Consumer Hearing Business

The Role
Develop a consumer-centric, differentiated and winning product portfolio for our client’s Consumer Hearing business in a cross-functional and agile team. The product portfolio includes ancillary products and services such as apps and ecosystems to drive consumer engagement. 
Manage the product lifecycle to optimize sales and profits for a given product, especially through capturing early market feedback and effectively implementing changes to accelerate sustainable growth.
 
Task & Responsibilities
  • Develop a consumer-centric and differentiated product solution including a digital ecosystem (Apps etc.) for the Consumer Hearing business
  • Conduct consumer research and understand customer needs hierarchies and translate into specific product/solution requirements
  • Actively monitor competitive moves (with focus on CE players) and develop appropriate differentiation strategies
  • Continuously collect, interpret and react to market feedback and ensure agile and effective implementation of changes
  • Embrace an iterative, release-based development approach, going to market with minimal viable products and upgrading based on market feedback
  • Proactively seek opportunities from adjacent industries / products to build out offering, to maximize consumer engagement
  • Enable teams to drive consumer-centric, fast paced development of product portfolio
  • Instill consumer- and growth-centric mindset into the teams and promote a high-performing working mode
  • Work in a collaborative way with R&D & other functions with sales & marketing to further accelerate growth
 
Requirements
  • Technical, Business or Marketing Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in International / Global Product Management with a focus on new product development in Consumer electronics Industry
  • Experience in building and launching IoT products connected to a digital ecosystem
  • Combination of strong technical background and business acumen, with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience of working closely & crossfunctionally with R&D teams
