About the role
This role will be based in our Singapore Global Headquarters and report to the SVP, FInance and work closely with our senior management team.
Main responsibilities include the full spectrum of finance and accounting processes and preparation of management and financial reporting, managing operational budgeting and forecasting, analysis of financial risk, conducting regular review of business processes and identifying areas of improvements
Control and manage the Group’s operating cash flow and budgets with an objective to optimise costs, overheads, revenue; Maxime available cash and working capital optimization
Support the completion of month end and year end audited accounts and filing of accounts and taxes on a timely basis. Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, accounting and payroll service providers and other government agencies
Support in improving/set up of appropriate and efficient reporting and analytical frameworks, support various teams in preparing timely monthly management reports which highlight key business drivers and issues accurately
Identify and develop additional group internal control processes
Bring thought leadership and up to date technical knowledge to the team
Provide strategic financial insight and advice in order to drive performance within the business
Focus on streamlining and improving processes, with the objective of improving efficiency and accuracy
Build strong relationships with various stakeholders and enhance internal controls for the respective business units in each market and be involved in roll out of new systems and processes to enhance finance capabilities
Work on reviewing and vetting various contracts, other documents with external / internal legal teams
Proactively provide senior business leaders with high quality financial analysis, insight and judgement to aid commercial and strategic decision making
Monitor current KPIs, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance
Work with country teams to ensure all our compliances are up to date as required by country laws and internal corporate governance standards
Lead / support other finance/commercial/accounting related projects as required by the business from time to time
What are they looking for
Possess Degree in Finance, Accountancy, business or equivalent
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on finance experience
Good story teller and excellent presentation skills
Exhibits strong verbal and written communication; ability to summarise financial information for presentation to senior management
Experience in commercial or strategically oriented finance roles
Meticulous, organised and good attention to details
The ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
Good communication skills as this role will require you to work closely with cross functional teams and business leaders
Analytical and project management ability
