Our client is a climate tech venture building the world’s first net-zero homes and communities. They have partnered with Engie, a global leader in energy generation and management to develop a 1000-home, 10MW community in the Philippines that saves over 6,000 tons of C02 annually. Their homes generate additional monthly income for the homeowners, increasing their affordability and contributing to economic development.
They’re seeking an effective Business Development Manager to help support business development and sales activities.
THE ROLE
- Responsible for identification, assessment, business solicitation and market opportunities
- Identify and drive strategic partnerships
- Structure project deals with value creation for every stakeholder
- Spearhead negotiations with potential partners and clients
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, trends, and potential clients
- Develop go-to-market sales strategy and tactics to achieve or exceed targets
- Support the management in reviewing, evaluating and developing strategies
- Develop winning business proposals to put forth our unique value propositions
- Build long-term partnerships with business partners and clients
- Drive related marketing, market research and competitive intelligence activities
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in a business development role or account manager
- Business orientation with a forward-thinking and scale-up approach
- Advanced knowledge in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides)
- Professional and well-spoken, with good communication skills
- Exceptionally organized and efficient, with a good dose of common sense and initiative
- Demonstrated ability to think independently and recommend best practices
- Superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.
